My honest reviews over medal games!

Posted by scorpion111 Jun. 23, 2009 @ 3:02 PM EDT

Drop The Bomb(MEDALS) -> This looks like a deplorable need for attention, by adding medals to the game people would play it, but the game itself sucks. Look at it's scores. 0/10

OCD+ -> Whilist having scores nearby Drop The Bomb, and it's also made for attention, the game is actually "fun" for non-US players. Good place to start to learn to cheat. 3/10

D-Day Defender -> Not exactly what do i call fun, or entertaining... but it's an enjoyable game nevertheless. And medals actually LOOK fun and relatively easy to get. Getting them is another story. 4.5/10

Pilgrimage -> 'Novelty game'. Not a very well done one, nor remarcably smart medals. Fun for just one playthrough... this would actually look good if ported on consoles! 4/10

SHIFT 4 -> Not as fun as the others. Since i haven't played it much, i can't comment on it. But as far as i played, it seemed sucky, and way too puzzle for a SHIFT game. 3/10 until further notice

It's a nice day today -> HaHaHa. Funny and short. Not very rewarding medal-wise, but it's very fun, and dosen't require much frustration to get The Medal. 9/10

Seed of Destruction -> Fun at first, gets really annoying and hard towards the end. 8/10

Street Fighter Colab -> Never played

Medieval Rampage -> Seemed very stupid at first, but it got me hooked just enough so i could finish it. I didn't want to play it more, as i could spend my time on something at least looking better. 6.5/10

The Arrow of Time -> Really good game, but gets frustrating, annoying, etc etc at times. I wasn't in such a good mood to stick with it when i tried first playing, but i'm sure i would still enjoy it. 10/10

A Small Favor -> Point and click. I hate point and click. Not a remarkable one, like zeebarf's other works. 5/10

Spewer -> Kept me addicted until the end. And i still wanted more. 10/10

In Utero -> Really annoying to kill the boss flawless, but the other medals are fun to get... Too bad they're not many. 4/10

Epic Battle Fantasy -> Epic game. Too bad it lacks scene selectors and stuff like that, and it gets a grind-fest if you want the harder medals. And some of the easier ones too. 7.5/10

Da Pink Knight -> Very very very hard at first, but after figuring some basic stuff to do, and getting some intentional lag, it's playable, and i may also add... fun... Except for some medals for which you must finish the game multiple times 7.5/10

A bad taste of pico -> Lol... Medals are easy and fun to get, graphics are very funny, and the game itself is good for a short play. Too bad it has 0 replay value. 8.5/10

Escape Pico's School -> Lol pixel pico. Very fun to play, and addicting... Unlike other point and clicks, i found it fun... Until it all ended. And i have to finish it thrice to get the credits medal. 9/10

Darnel's recount -> Very simmilar to A bad taste of pico, but even more silly. 8.6/10

Stamper's Quest for Fags -> Another game of the variety that get me addicted. I wanted to quit playing it a lot of times, but haven't done it until i finished all medals. 9/10

Barbarian Bob [Remake] -> The game describes itself as 'fun' and 'HAS MEDALS'. Bad thing. Games that advertise themselves as having medals never seem to be good. The game it's hard, silly, and pointless. 4/10

Red Moon -> Fun game, smooth characters, and good enemies. Novelty grapichs... and umm... ... ... it's good overall; medals require some playthroughs, and the no-death one is almost impossible... 9/10

Sonny 2 -> Played only for a short time. Can't pronounce.

Bunny Invasion: Easter -> Played a bit, only to find out it's the same as the last one. Didn't even bothered. 5/10, for the fun the first one gave to me...

Tianaman Square -> Frogger? Uhm... The medal-part of the game is so short... With the lack of extra goals in it, of course, i exited. As part of the April Fools event, i coudn't expect much either. 1/10

Super Sweatshop Master -> Unlike the last one, this had a fun factor. But it still felt either too easy. Or 100% impossible to escape some attacks. Until 10k, there is a low chanche of getting 3 of these gangbangs... whatever... 4/10

Deliver That Fulp -> Not that i played any MUD in my life, but i found the game really fun. Had to use a walkthrough for the last 2 medals, but overall, was really good. For an april fools game. 7/10

Thing Thing Arena 3 -> Really really really intresting concept and stuff. Medals are overly silly and (look like they) require tons of grinding. But the game itself is fun. 7.5/10

Portal Defenders -> Didn't play

Doom Triple Pack -> Since i didn't played any of these silly games, and skipped directly from 8-bit games to PC, the game had no fun value to me. In the flash screen it was even more annoying. 4/10

Newgrounds Pass 3 -> Altough i used an walkthrough for it, the initiative is really good, and some of the puzzles too. A bit fun too. 6/10

Madness Regent -> One of the best games there. Too bad it's so short. 9/10

<LIGHTBOT> -> Didn't played much; and medals seem like i would use a walkthrough for it if i were to play

Brawl Royale -> Smooth animations, good graphics. The game is really frustrating, but that's all. I guess that after killing Goku first time, the Masochist badge is really easy. 8/10

Stickya Adventure -> Random, but not in the good sense of the word. Random like in very stupid. I can't belive i bothered for this... but then again, i have a weak spot for randomness. 5/10

Mecha Dress Up -> Game is good, and that's a lot when it's about a dress-up, but requires either a walkthrough, or being a stalker of the creator to get all medals. 6/10

Pico Blast -> Really easy, and a bit fun. I can't say i really enjoyed the game. 5.5/10

Castle Crashing The Beard -> This game is very replayable, and has a high fun factor, whilist being short. Makes me come again and again to kill the beard. I WANT MOAR!!!! 10/10

Music in Motion -> Really fun. Until they added medals, and i had to go through all of it again. But if i woudn't have played it some time ago, it would have been fun. 6.5/10

Alkie Kong -> Plain stupid and pointless, but fun psychics and stuff. I wonder why they added medals to that, and not to Alien Hominid or Dad'n'Me, if they added to old games 7/10

The Clasroom 3 -> Heh... was fun the first time i played. Now it seems plain boring. If this was the first time i would play, i would rate it as 8.5/10 probabbly

Pico's School -> Used an autoclicker xD i must play game whitout to see what happens

Domo-Kun Angry Smash Fest -> I love all those game references! And the sprites, and all. Too bad that 2nd time i played i didn't felt the same, rendering the badges annoying to get. 9/10
